An employee was trying to climb up a 6-foot scaffold to paint an 8-foot fiber glass tank. He was using a step stool to step up to the scaffold ladder when it slipped out from underneath him. As he tried to catch himself from falling down, he broke his left ankle and fell about 18 inches to the concrete floor below. He was hospitalized and had surgery. |
